Compelling Medical Device Sales opportunity in the acute care setting for an industry leader. This Medical Device Sales Representative will be responsible for selling both capital equipment and disposable devices in the assigned territory. Primary call points will include Directors of Anesthesia, OR Director, ER, Director of Nursing, Purchasing, Biomed and Materials Manager. This Medical Device Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining established business and prospecting new business to meet sales quotas. In addition, this Medical Device Sales Representative will partner with hospital buying groups to gain approval for purchase of products, attend cases in OR for product evaluations, instruct medical personnel on correct product applications for various procedures and collaborate with Sales Management to develop sales and marketing strategy for assigned territory.
Job Requirements:
*2+ years of medical devices experience in the acute care market – prior experience selling airway products is preferred
*must live in the assigned territory Detroit or Grand Rapids MI
*track record of sales success in annually meeting sales quotas
*travel is 25% 3-5 overnights per month
*ability to utilize MS Office products and various sales tools
