Club Manager
The Vermilion Boat Club Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the club which include the restaurant, bar, pool area, and event planning
Duties:
– Oversee hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of all clubhouse staff.
– Participate in the development and oversee the implementation of the Club operating budget.
– Forecast for revenue, payroll expenses, and all other expenses.
– Work with and monitor for overall performance all outside contract service providers such as landscaping, etc,
– Ensure overall member satisfaction.
– Continually recruit for new members to the club.
– Ensure quality standards and procedures are met throughout the Club.
– Attend monthly club meetings to provide reports and discuss potential projects/opportunities.
– Ability to work with a volunteer community to ensure participation in the club remains high.
– Ability to work long hours during summer season to ensure overall club management and events are running smoothly.
Experience:
– Must have demonstrated customer-service experience.
– Must have 2 years experience managing a P/L. with overall 5 years of business experience.
– Experience with restaurant/club management preferred.
– Must have supervisory experience with preference given to work with volunteers
– Computer savvy person with experience with MS Office products as well as Quickbooks and POS systems.
The Vermilion Boat Club is a private club located on the Vermilion River. The VBC offers its members a private restaurant, downstairs lounge bar, new swimming pool, dockage and sail programs. Our club is seeking a Club Manager that excels at customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that enjoys building strong relationships in a club community. This person will be responsible for the overall management of the club, including the restaurant. He/she will work with a strong volunteer membership to drive the activities and the growth of the club.
