Senior Financial Analyst – Northern California (Bay Area)

Job Responsibilities:

*assist with the development of budgets, interim forecasts and business analyses

*lead ad-hoc projects upon request

*responsible for compiling, analyzing and reviewing financial data with all business groups including profitability analyses, revenue trends, budget vs. actual

*serve as administrator of forecasting application software

*design various reporting packages to senior management

*evaluate and assist in the development of improved key performance indicators


*Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

*minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience

*excellent communication skills; demonstrate the ability to discuss finance metrics with non-finance staff

*Advanced Excel skills

*experience with corporate performance management systems and ERP systems

The job responsibilities for this Senior Cost Analyst will include but are not limited to

*responsible for providing analysis and schedules to identify and explain any manufacturing variances

*coordinates inventory cycle counts on periodic basis to ensure accuracy

*will assist in annual budget preparation

*preparation of reports for semi-annual physical inventory

*will establish and maintain sound accounting practices and internal controls

*prepare all journal vouchers to record all transactions for monthly close

*prepare monthly and yearly variance forecast and income statement

Job requirements:

Bilingual ( English/Spanish) is preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required MBA/ CMA preferred

3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (healthcare is a plus)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

JD Edwards experience is a plus
