Compelling Medical Device Sales opportunity in the acute care setting for an industry leader. This Medical Device Sales Representative will be responsible for selling both capital equipment and disposable devices in the assigned territory. Primary call points will include Directors of Anesthesia, OR Director, ER, Director of Nursing, Purchasing, Biomed and Materials Manager. This Medical Device Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining established business and prospecting new business to meet sales quotas. In addition, this Medical Device Sales Representative will partner with hospital buying groups to gain approval for purchase of products, attend cases in OR for product evaluations, instruct medical personnel on correct product applications for various procedures and collaborate with Sales Management to develop sales and marketing strategy for assigned territory.

Job Requirements:

*2+ years of medical devices experience in the acute care market – prior experience selling airway products is preferred

*must live in the assigned territory Detroit or Grand Rapids MI

*track record of sales success in annually meeting sales quotas

*travel is 25% 3-5 overnights per month

*ability to utilize MS Office products and various sales tools

My client is a well established medical device company in the respiratory industry. They are a market leader and continue to be very innovative in developing new products to meet the needs of their customers.

This Medical Device Sales Representative will be responsible for the selling of multiple products and product solutions within the hospital. This will include demonstrating functions, features and benefits to key decision makers within the Hospital.

*primary call points -Directors of Critical Care, Directors of Nursing, Risk Management and C-Suite

*provide presentations that tell a clinical story to decision makers and provide features/benefits of products

*effectively develop and execute sales plan to meet quota expectations and expand customer base

Job requirements

*must live in territory

*Bachelors Degree is required

*3+ years of capital equipment medical device sales

*Previous clinical experience as a nurse or respiratory therapist is a plus

*75% travel is required

Position: Senior Systems & Developer Analyst-CRM

SUMMARY:

The company is seeking a Senior Systems and Developer Analyst to work with our Sales and Marketing teams to build software tools to support the business processes. As a member of the Application Development team, this position is responsible for working with project teams focused on building solutions to using tools, methodologies and processes established to meet the needs to the organization. The successful candidate will work with both business and IT teams to design and build enterprise solutions. The candidate will have experience developing software utilizing a CRM specifically to enhance the effort of the sales and marketing teams.

The incumbent will be active in contributing to the fulfillment of the company mission: to secure the long-term goals of our clients and the advisors who serve them, by demonstrating the following responsibilities and duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are generally representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

Software Development projects

Software Development

  • Lead the solutioning and development of sales and marketing projects and enhancements to ensure solutions are delivered properly to meet the requirements of both business and IT
  • Build sound technical solutions to meet user requirements that consider system capacity, limitations and performance requirements
  • Create innovative solutions to improve the overall use and value of CRM and CRM data
  • Ensure that software enhancements and system fixes meet intended business needs according to defined requirements
  • Build and maintain the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to be utilized on all projects
  • Develop high level and detailed designs for assigned development initiatives
  • Prepare technical specifications from which application programs will be developed
  • Develop and execute test routines to ensure quality of software
  • Assist in the planning and deployment of software releases
  • Support end-of-day processes during off-hours according to established rotation schedule
  • Inform manager and user community of progress, issues and concerns

Business Analysis

  • Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements
  • Develop and document functional requirements for analyzed business need
  • Identify and recommend best approach to solve business issues

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

· Post graduate work, such as financial certification, or master’s degree a plus

· 7+ years of solid experience in Business Application Software design and development or production support

· CRM experience required; Asset Management industry experience a plus

  • Batch scheduling experience (IBM/Tivoli’s TWS a plus)
  • Strong understanding data structures and content required
  • CRM application experience required, SalesPage CRM a plus (Charles River, SimCorp Dimension, FactSet, Portia experience also a plus)
